Vizio high res 26″ monitor

While browsing  for a new display I thought to look on Vizio’s site.
I know they make great TV’s as my 42″ LCD from them is still kicking butt. Low and behold I see they have a sweet new flat panel multi media display monitor, geared twards computer enthusiasts! The new VMM26 26” Multi media Display Monitor from VIZIO features 1920 x 1200 resolution, HDMI inputs, USB upstream and downstream ports for all your devices. What really caught my attention is it has a glass screen, yep glass…so no more worry about messing up plastic screens while cleaning.

A new way to attach to R-Strap!

I’m working on a new way to attach a camera to Blackrapid’s R-Strap. The design is simple and strong, it allows you to attach your camera using any existing tripod plate. The adpter goes between the camera and the plate, is only 1.7mm thick, and made from high strength stainless steel.

2tb Hardrives are on the horizon.

Engadget reports that Seagate has shown it’s new 2tb harddrive at CES.
“It’ll be out calendar Q3, which we take to be fancy schmancy business
talk for “this Summer.” Meanwhile, the 2.5-inch ES-less Constellation
line sports 3 Gbps SATA and SAS 2.0 interface. Look for this one in
160GB and 500GB sizes sometime this quarter, with Dell said to be one
the first companies to offer the drives.”
